The annual test must be performed between September 1 and August 31 prior to the planning year. The data is adjusted to the last 5-year average conditions on the date and times of MISO’s coincident Summer peak. The GVTC data must be submitted by October 31 into MISO’s PowerGADS through the MISO Market Portal. For example, the 2020 Planning Year testing must occur between September 1, 2018 and August 31, 2019 and be submitted by October 31, 2019.
Testing and data submittal are also required to demonstrate an increase in the rated capacity, or when returning from a suspended state, or returning from an absence.
